About Lifeline Northern Beaches

Established nearly 50 years ago, Lifeline Northern Beaches provides crucial crisis support services to individuals in distress. Operating as part of a national network, they offer:

  • 24/7 Telephone Crisis Support
  • Face-to-Face Counselling
  • Financial Guidance
  • Support Groups addressing issues like anxiety, depression, and domestic violence

With a dedicated team of salaried staff and around 600 volunteers, Lifeline Northern Beaches works tirelessly to connect those at risk with essential resources. Their Lifeline Shops, which sell donated goods, play a pivotal role in funding local services and fostering community engagement.

Commitment to the Community

Lifeline Northern Beaches aims to create an Australia free from suicide by empowering individuals and building strong community ties. They also provide valuable training opportunities for volunteers and community members on topics such as mental health first aid.
